Adjusted GW Score = GW Points − Transfer Cost. This applies everywhere: overall standings, highest-GW and block bonuses—identical to FPL's calculation.

Tiebreaks

Official FPL ranking is final for overall places. A block tie goes to the manager with fewer transfers during that block; split evenly if transfers also tie.

The prize is split equally among all managers tied on the highest adjusted score.

Detailed rules & examples

1. Scoring

Standard FPL classic scoring rules apply — no house rules on squad selection, chips, or formations.

2. League format

Classic mini-league, full season GW1–38. Join code 5ssn4j. 18 managers, 100 🪙 entry each (1,800 🪙 pool).

3. GW score calculation

Every points total on this site uses FPL's own adjusted score: Adjusted GW Score = GW Points − Transfer Cost.

Example: you score 160 raw points in a gameweek but made an extra transfer costing -8. Your adjusted score for that GW is 152. That's what counts everywhere on this site.

4. Tiebreaks

Overall standings: official FPL mini-league ranking is final authority — including its own transfer-count tiebreak.

Example: Manager A and Manager B both finish on 2,144 points. FPL's table lists A above B because A made fewer transfers over the season. A takes 1st, B takes 2nd — no manual recalculation, we mirror FPL's official order.

GW-block ties: FPL's tiebreak only resolves season-long totals, not a sub-range like GW9–12. A block tie is settled by whoever made fewer transfers during that specific block.

Example: Block 3, "Spooky Season Specialist" (GW9–12): A and B both score 210 adjusted points. A made 2 transfers, B made 4. A wins the block's 35 🪙. If transfers are also tied, the 35 🪙 splits evenly — 17.50 🪙 each.

5. Highest single-gameweek tie

The 100 🪙 prize splits equally among all managers tied on the season's highest adjusted score.

Example: Manager A hits 155 adjusted points in GW22, Manager B separately hits 155 in GW31. Both are the season's joint-highest — they split the 100 🪙, 50 🪙 each.

6. FPL Cup

Standard FPL Cup rules apply. FPL sets the bracket and schedule itself (typically starts once enough gameweeks have passed, final expected ~GW35–38). Whoever wins the final per FPL's own bracket takes the full 75 🪙.

7. Payout timing

All prizes — overall places, highest-GW, GW-blocks, and the Cup — are paid after the season ends and all winners are confirmed. No mid-season payouts, even for blocks that lock in early.

How the Power Score works

Power Score measures recent FPL performance, scored by world-rank percentile, with no advantage for having an older account. It's on a 0–100 scale — a completely different number from "Avg Pts/Season" next to it, which stays a simple, unadjusted, informational stat only.

1. Only the latest 3 completed seasons count

Anything older is ignored entirely. 16 seasons on the account or 3 — only the most recent 3 feed the score. There is no bonus for account age or longevity.

2. Each season is scored by world-rank percentile, not raw points

Raw points aren't comparable across seasons — some years the whole player pool scores higher or lower. So each season is scored by how it ranked against every FPL player worldwide that year: Season Score = 100 − rank percentile (roughly, 100 × (1 − your rank ÷ total players)). Higher is better — a top-1% finish scores ~99, top-10% ~90, top-50% ~50.

3. Recent seasons are weighted more heavily

For managers with 3 completed seasons: latest = 40%, previous = 35%, third = 25%.

For managers with only 2 seasons, the missing season isn't scored as zero — the two available weights (40 + 35 = 75) are redistributed proportionally: latest ≈ 53.3%, previous ≈ 46.7%.

For managers with just 1 season, that single Season Score isn't trusted on its own — one hot season shouldn't outrank a manager with a proven multi-season record. It's blended 50/50 with the league average Power Score (of everyone with 2+ seasons) and flagged ⚠️ Provisional. The flag and the blending both disappear once they complete a second season.

Example: a manager with 14 seasons on the books gets zero extra credit for that — only their latest 3 count, same as a manager who joined 3 seasons ago. A manager can rank above someone with 13 more seasons of history if their recent form is stronger. That's intentional.

The formula

Power Score = (Latest × weight) + (Previous × weight) + (Third × weight), rounded to 1 decimal place, using the weights above depending on how many completed seasons a manager has.
